Dear All,

Check out the coverage of a new ratfish named by MLML student Kelsey James, Dave Ebert (research faculty), and Doug Long (cheif curator of the Oakland Museum of California) recently.

It came after a jellynose deep-sea fish was featured by NGS, but had the wrong information. The proper identification was provided by Dr. Tomio Iwamoto at the California Academy of Sciences.
