The class will address historical and modern themes of marine invertebrate zoology. The class will read and discuss classical and recent literature with the aim of understanding the evolution of concepts of adaptation, conservation, diversity, phylogeny, and biogeography. Prerequisites: Graduate standing, instructor's consent, MS 124 and 125, or equivalent.
