Equipment

Endowment
Alumni and friends who make gifts for an endowment build a strong foundation for MLML now and in the future. An endowment is a fund that supports the institution in perpetuity, often named for the donor or a designated individual. Distributions from an endowment support the purpose or program chosen by the donor.
Endowments are a long-term investment in the laboratory that provide benefits to students and faculty year after year, generation after generation, because the gift principle is invested while only part of the income is spent. The stable base of resources this represents allows for a rich variety of activities such as scholarships and fellowships for talented students, support for distinguished and dedicated faculty members through professorships and chairs, and support for research that otherwise would not progress.
Please contact us if you are interested in establishing an endowment or contributing to an existing endowment.
Annual Fund
Annual giving programs support MLML educational expenses such as faculty development, student scholarships and services, and library acquisitions. Undesignated gifts as well as those earmarked for a particular research project are welcomed.
Every gift to MLML - whatever its size - makes a difference. Many small gifts add up to a substantial contribution. This broad-based support for the laboratories helps garner additional gifts from foundations and corporations. The MLML Annual Fund is an opportunity for the broadest base of alumni and friends to invest in the laboratories.
