Justin Gill

Help Desk Tech since: March 2022 Ichthyology Lab As a Help Desk Technician, Justin works with the rest of the IT team to provide basic technical support to students, staff and faculty of the MLML community, which includes working to solve minor issues, prepare classrooms with equipment needed for courses, manage all equipment check out, helping to edit/update various MLML webpages and provide the technical support for MLML’s weekly seminar series. Along with this position, Justin is studying fine-scale habitat association of kelp forest fishes, under Scott Hamilton in the Ichthyology Lab and James Lindholm of CSUMB. Justin started his career at MLML as a student in the Fall 2020 cohort.

Nalina Johnson

Help Desk Tech since: July 2022 Geological Oceanography Lab As a Help Desk Technician, Nalina works with the rest of the IT team to provide basic technical support to students, staff and faculty of the MLML community, which includes working to solve minor issues, prepare classrooms with equipment needed for courses, manage all equipment check out, helping to edit/update various MLML webpages and provide the technical support for MLML’s weekly seminar series. Along with this position, Nalina is interested in studying sea level rise and its effects on coastal communities, under Ivano Aiello in the Geological Oceanography Lab. Nalina started her career at MLML as a student in the Fall 2022 cohort.

Samuel Sherrill

Help Desk Tech since: August 2022 Invertebrate Lab As a Help Desk Technician, Sam works with the rest of the IT team to provide basic technical support to students, staff and faculty of the MLML community, which includes working to solve minor issues, prepare classrooms with equipment needed for courses, manage all equipment check out, helping to edit/update various MLML webpages and provide the technical support for MLML’s weekly seminar series. Along with this position, Sam is interested in studying the taxonomy of deep sea sponges, under Amanda Kahn in the Invertebrate Lab. Sam started her career at MLML as a student in the Fall 2022 cohort.
