My research is broadly focused on air-sea interaction in the marine atmospheric surface layer and atmospheric boundary layer processes. Currently, I focus on the electromagnetic ducting in the marine atmospheric boundary layer, which is an important application of air-sea interaction used for maritime communication. I use in situ and remote sensing observations for the research. Various research platforms such as, ships, aircrafts and boats are used for data collection. I use the results from these studies to improve the models of marine atmospheric surface layer and electromagnetic wave propagation.
